You name it, vintage, selvedge, authentic, stone washed, workwear or bleached."Give me denim or give me death!" Denim is nothing new, but for that matter, there aren't a whole lot of "new" things in fashion anymore.
Comments:Think about your jeans. You like them like you like your coffee in the morning…some like stiff, some like them to give with a little added stretch, some don't mind an old worn out pair…maybe coffee isn't a good comparison. The point is, you can have your denim so many different ways, that it is a great way to explore your style choices and combination. You can compliment a stylistically retro outfit with a freshly minted jean jacket or throw a denim shirt underneath the lapels of a slim, trim dark charcoal suit to show them at your work to let them know it's Friday; I'm here but don't bother me attitude.
To get the look:Denim can set the mood for so many occasions. Off the top of my head, a darker wash, a crisp selvedge perhaps, will have you ready for a date or club night with friends.
Lighter jeans for the everyday stroll will have people paying attention when paired with the right shoes and top.
For the ladies, there are so many fit options, you make a man's selection look like pitiful. You have the boyfriend jeans you can through on with some killer heels, some tough 'Oliver Peoples' frames, and maybe a navy vintage blazer with the sleeves rolled up? I don't want to dwell too much on all the options. The point is, there are options, so get out there and start trying them out.
